For many years the Thompson Chain Bible from Kirkbride Bible Company was the most popular choice for a wedding Bible. In 2020 the Kirkbride Company was bought by Harper Collins. As of July 2021 the Thompson Chain is offered with black bonded leather or a brown synthetic cover. They do not appear to have the same quality or expected durability we were used to in the old genuine leather options from Kirkbride. We encourage brides to consider a Cambridge Bible.

Revised Thompson Chain, Brown Calfskin
This Bible contains the same type set as the Cambridge Cameo reference Bible but includes a wide margin on the three outside edges for notes. (The top and bottom margins for notes measure approximately 1 1/4 inches. The outside margin is 1 1/2 inches. Made of quality ironed calfskin. Red Letter edition, center references, concordance, maps. This edition includes a preface entitled, “The Translators to the Reader.” Page size is 8 1/4 x 6 in.; thickness is 1 1/4 in.
