Description
This book gives a glimpse of who the Old Colony Mennonites are and insight into their culture. It is also the story of how they asked the Amish for help in upgrading their schools. These teachers leave home and travel to northern Mexico, where adjusting to a different culture and communicating in High German are only a start to the obstacles they face. With the help of these teachers, many of these children can now read the Bible at home to their parents, who can’t read it themselves, giving a new hope for the future. 408 pages; paper; OCMS.
